About

Beautify Knightstown, Inc.

Beautify Knightstown, Inc (BKI) formed in the spring of 2015 from the idea of commissioning a mural to beautify the large storefront wall on Main Street. The group gathered citizen input to determine the mural subject with the belief that citizen involvement in decision-making creates a sense of community. This sense of community is what makes small-town living so unique.

BKI not only advocates to beautify, but also to enhance and promote Knightstown, Indiana. Projects such as placing decorated bicycles along Main Street, installing flags and wayfinding signs, building Little Free Libraries, and reopening the splash pad are designed to raise the quality of living. Creating a welcoming atmosphere is at the top of our priority list for potential and current residents.

BKI accepts all volunteers who wish to assist in beautifying Knightstown. No special talents or skills are needed, just the desire and will to serve your community. Contact us for more information on how you can get involved with BKI.
